The idea!
The idea for BeMyNeon came up on a trip to Hong Kong in 2018....
We were travelers in a foreign country, spoke very little Chinese and were hungry for novelty.
We were exploring the city every day when one night we suddenly came across a sign outside a restaurant. No one knew its meaning, but we wondered if the restaurant would have had the same energy without this detail.
"We wanted a place in people's minds"
And so the lightbulb went on ...sort of! Why not create details for our store too?

Barely mentioning it, the name wasn't that, but the energy was the same. Back in Germany we already had many designs in mind. We didn't want to be mainstream, we wanted to have a place in people's minds and get to know a part of them.
BeMyNeon is about you!
BeMyNeon was born this way. For us, a blank wall is like a canvas waiting to be decorated. With BeMyNeon signs you say something about yourself without speaking, you can describe your personality with a touch of light.
Our concept goes straight to people's hearts, so much so that the signs were still in development when the first orders started coming in.
